The Section Lead Readiness and Emergency Management Technician must have received the USAF AFSC 3E9X1, Emergency Management Specialty and have formally been awarded the AFSC of 3E971 Craftsman skill level as a minimum.
The Technician must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience within USAF Emergency Management.
The Section Lead Readiness and Emergency Management Technician shall be International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) certified.
The Section Lead Readiness and Emergency Management Technician shall be National Fire Protection Association's Professional Qualifications Standards (NFPA) 471 and 472 qualified at the Hazardous Materials Technician level.
The Section Lead Readiness and Emergency Management Technician must meet the physical and knowledge level requirements of NFPA 471 and 472 within six (6) months from date of hire and annually thereafter.
Must have a Final Secret clearance at time of hire.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract and will be listed separately.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions for CONUS locations.
For OVS assignments, may be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
