Job Description

Job Summary
 
Assist in the conduct of warehouse receiving operations and provide on-the-job training (OJT) to Afghan Nation Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) personnel working in receiving and storage operations.
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Train ANDSF personnel so that they can perform their duties in warehouse receiving operations independently of outside assistance.
  • Monitor performance of ANDSF personnel executing receiving operations for deficiencies in performance and provide training as required to eliminate deficiencies discovered.
  • Contractor shall outline identified deficiencies and provide written reports to Resolute Support Mission (RSM) Deputy Chief of Staff Support (DCOS SPT) (EF 5) in weekly reports.
  • Train ANDSF personnel on the conduct of operations in accordance with Ministry of Defense (MoD) decrees.
  • Ensure property received into the depot is accurately and timely entered into the automated inventory management system.
  • Train and ensure that records of accountability for serialized items are maintained correctly and work with ANDSF receiving personnel to spot correct errors when identified.
  • Maintain records of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases received at warehouse as well as local vendor deliveries and notify RSM and MoD.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate the results of the studies and analyses to sponsoring senior Coalition and ANDSF officials through written reports, briefings, and oral presentations
  • Capability to be effective in a complex strategic environment through influence and interaction.
  • Strong analytical skills using appropriate quantitative and qualitative tools and methods.
  • Automated data processing knowledge: possess working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, graphics presentation, databases, E-mail clients & web browsers, and web content management.
  • Understanding of and experience with military logistics and sustainment programs from either a technical or programmatic perspective.

Experience & Education
  • Management experience of 4 years
  • Must have a final (not interim) Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance before deployment and maintain that clearance.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Must pass all medical and fitness requirements directed by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in order to deploy.
  • Must be able to operate in harsh and austere conditions of Afghanistan

Travel
  • Must be capable of daily travel in and around Kabul as well as to locations throughout Afghanistan
