Job Summary
The Site Manager – UAE oversees daily operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at assigned area of responsibility to ensure quality to customer.
Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of task order performance and compliance with fire, safety, and environmental protection requirements
  • Oversee and inspect, test, and maintain fire detection and alarm systems
  • Interpret instrument and meter readings, wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and technical publications
  • Manage basic support services and accompanying labor force for assigned location that includes team of US nationals supervising skilled and/or semi-skilled foreign and local nationals
  • Supervise arrival, retrofit, and upgrade of equipment and material as assigned
  • Collect accurate and timely data for quality input to company or government meetings, performance evaluation boards, and required reports
  • Effectively manage employee issues that may arise
  • Become familiar with local culture and customs to ensure appropriate conduct of personnel
  • The Site Manager shall be responsible for the performance of the work and

    shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters

    relating to the daily operation of this contract.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must fluently read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Knowledgeable in National Fire Protection Agency requirements, safety rules and practices, environmental policies, and principles of management
  • Prefer general knowledge in base operations, municipality operation, and/or public works
  • Background displaying ability to staff, organize, lead, and manage diverse work force larger than five (5) people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Valid US driver license and ability to qualify for international driver license
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance at proper level

Job Requirements

  • Minimum eight (10) years experience including at least five (5) years in management, installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of fire alarm and suppression systems from various manufacturers
  • Bachelor Degree in associated discipline; may substitute two years experience in related field for each year of college
  • Prefer experience in military management and working with various trades

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions


  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
