Job Description

Job Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Auditor is responsible for the implementation of field and office quality programs and activities such as auditing, reports, inspections, data analysis, and maintaining inspection processes.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform various audits including those for LOTDs and ACLs and prepare audit reports
  • Initiate, track, and manage nonconformities and related corrective actions, assisting internal and customer corrective action reporting
  • Review subcontract Statements of Work as necessary
  • Assist in documentation of procedures and reviewing them for compliance to requirements
  • Assist in providing training on quality topics and may lead improvement teams
  • Coordinate quality activities with DCMA and customer
  • Prepare presentations and represent Quality Management in meetings as necessary
  • Inspect processes, equipment, and facilities to identify potential risks; develop and implement mitigating measures
  • Perform other duties assigned

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of inspection methods and processes
  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels to effectively and efficiently implement the program QC plan

Job Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of work experience with at least two (2) years in QA/QC
  • Bachelor's Degree; may substitute two (2) additional years of experience for each year of college

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
