Job Summary
 
The Aviation Research Training Analysis & Development Specialist will provide a qualified Aviation Research Training & Development Specialist to assist the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) in planning, developing, execution, and administration of an aviation training program.
 
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs and provide a systematic procedure for execution of various training programs.
  • Do analytical work on Aviation training programs, Flight Safety and evaluation.
  • Design and implement Aviation management training to student officers.
  • Assist in the planning, organizing, and directing of current and future training by providing safety impact statements on operational activities.
  • Interface with training, operations, maintenance and other support personnel from the RSLFAC, U.S. Government, and contractors on the entire spectrum of the training program.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of an on-the-job (OTJ) program for officers and enlisted in both aviation and ground safety.
  • Design, develop, and instruct officer and enlisted aviation safety courses. This instruction will include, as appropriate, blocks of instruction on ground/vehicle safety.
  • Assist, as directed, in the investigation of any aviation and ground accident.
  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and developing courses via SAT process.
  • Able to coordinate effectively with subject matter experts in the aviation maintenance technician field to gather and understand requirements resulting in the creation of a job scalar, job description, job specification, job performance statement, and eventually job analysis report.
  • Knowledge of training aids and devices as well as audio-visual training aids.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree is required. Degree requirement may be substituted with high level of experience and military education.
  • Five (5) or more years of recent aviation training and evaluation is required. Three (3) of these years must be at the battalion (or equivalent) or higher level.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 25 pounds
